      Hi everyone Most types of OCD are challenged and combatted using CBT therapy, which teaches us to think differently.  BDD has a very negative way of thinking. Looking for the positives in every situation is a good way to begin. Instead of concentrating on what we see as weaknesses about ourselves, the less than ‘perfect’ things, as if anything as random as the human body could ever be described as being perfect anyway, we look at our strengths, our good points. We are each of us unique, different, and that makes us special. And that is a good, positive approach to life.  I wonder if it is our weaknesses, imperfections if you like, that ultimately determine our strengths…  I believe that being content with how we are, is a good thing, and maybe others only see their own ‘imperfections’ in us, and that needs to be their problem, not ours…
