I’m trying to spend time on distracting myself from the evil ocd thoughts that try to trick me and trip me up. A thought about bad things from years ago will be hidden but will regularly reappear. How on earth can I survive this, I have some resistance to the thoughts and know I need to be strong but nowadays I’m always off work ill, it just has to get better than this.

Rather than words like “resist” and “be strong” try focusing on letting go. Dont resist or fight. Let go.
