      Cooking a meal I find very helpful at the start of a rumination. As soon as I realise my thoughts are getting tangled I cook following a recipe with the radio on which eventually distracts me enough for my brain to become unstuck. Also, if I have lost my appetite from anxiety spikes then if it involves cheese or custard or something I can nibble on…well atleast I’m eating something.
