Hi I think I have ocd and I try to avoid social media because it can destroy self esteem, but everything I do doesn’t help, I’m compelled to look at it. Forums can help, but I find that forums are almost like social media, I look at them multiple times per day. People don’t seem to have this problem on here.

While social media has its advantages, it’s not for everyone. In some cases, social media can become a source of stress, anxiety, and even depression. If you find yourself spending too much time on social media, it may be time to take a break and focus on other aspects of your life. However, if you use social media in moderation and it brings you joy and connection, then there’s no need to avoid it entirely. It’s all about finding a healthy balance that works for you.
