I’ve never had an issue with alcohol but used to work in hospitality and used to enjoy going out with everyone I worked with but decided to knock it on the head when you see how alcohol can affect people working in the industry for so many years I wanted to avoid that. I’ve had 2 pints (one at 2 different weddings) in the last 15 years.
You need to address the drink. Why do you binge? Why can’t you stop after 1 or 2? If you know it’s going to cause weeks of anxiety is it really worth it? Do you think drinking can help temporarily avoid other things OCD brings?
