I’m putting my absent mined ness down to age… I’m nearly 70, and as a bloke, it could be male menopause. That’s my excuse anyway! We aren’t memory machines particularly. Some are academic, a lot of us not… I’m not thick, I just don’t do instant recalll. As for names… I’m hopeless at names! I am good at some things, just not memory…
