Hello everyone. Im getting alot of intrusive thoughts lately and what makes this worse is i used to get these thoughts but just let them be. Does this mean that i used to be that horrible person or is it ocd?

"A thought is a thought is a thought", that's what my therapist says.

Thoughts don't mean anything, actions do so don't worry.

From what I've both read and been told in therapy, most people have inappropriate or diet turning thoughts at some time. The difference is they don't follow them or dwell on them, but for some of us going through OCD etc our amygdala won't let us switch off from them.
