Obsessing over not obsessing is common in ocd, so maybe you have other problems but it doesnt mean you dont have ocd

I'm the same way! Some weeks I obsess, and some weeks I occupy myself with a full daily schedule and meditation and eating healthy food. When I try and be healthy, I stop obsessing as much and I get worried: "Oh no, it's not OCD it's something else", and then I start obsessing again and asking my therapist or my family for reassurance. And I get scared and think, "what if none if this is real" and I get anxious and have to find ways to ground myself and reassure myself that I'm okay. I've obsessed over being schizo, sociopathic, going insane, hurting people, etc. I'm on 25mg zoloft and it's meh. But don't worry, I think you're fine. OCD just sucks a whole lot.

This is definitely a big part of OCD. It naturally waxes and wanes over time. And the "maybe it's not OCD" also seems very common... I have had this for a while. But it isn't a helpful question to dwell on. Try not to pay attention to it or ask for reassurance (easier said than done I know).
