I am reading a self-help book that says: “Intrusive thoughts. They are uninvited thoughts that jump into the mind and do not seem to be a part of the ongoing flow of intentional thinking.”
And this triggered me so badly because most of the time my Intrusive Thoughts are in connections with my thoughts like i get triggered for some reason and I will be thinkig “i hope x will not happen” and then I get intrusive thoughts like “i hope x will happen” or that I want x to happen or that I wanted to have the bad thoughts on purpose.
Are these kind of thoughts still intrusive?
