Hey Dav!

I was just thinking this last night because I was up until 4am having a ocd flare up and I was trying to encourage myself. So I worked on what I want to say as an introduction to my new vlog and then re read it a few more times when I was anxious:

Welcome to Isabella's Vlog! I have OCD, anxiety, post traumatic stress and fibromyalgia. Everyday is a struggle. My life has been interesting for a 24 year old. The bad was really bad, but the good was life changing. I want to share my story and my journey so that I can turn something sad into something wonderful, encouraging and uplifting. Please share your story too so that others just like you will know that they aren't alone. We can stand beside each other and network to raise awareness and to stop stigma. Not everyone will understand but the people who do (or are willing to try) will be so lucky to have you in their lives. Just be you, don't hide. It's the brave that make the world bright.

Hi Isabella, Hi Dav

Hope you both are doing well.

I remember a doctor talking about fibromyalgia and mentioning that it is a poorly understood condition in the medical world but as we advance through time I'm sure there will be answers and support, Absolutely Isabella if you share your story it will inspire others in many different ways. If you go to community stories on the ocd action website they have section where you can post your own inspirational story. The more awareness we can get out there about ocd the better I feel, The thing is people are interested in ocd even though they probably don't have it themselves and that is a positive thing as people will listen to our stories no doubt about that absolutely no doubt.

I've definitely noticed a big improvement in myself since I started being more of an advocate for these issues, it's become so key to me in fighting OCD.  Even though I mostly try to bring awareness to OCD etc online, I really want to use the encouragement I get from that to make me bolder in spreading awareness to my family, friends etc. I feel lucky to have met all the wonderful people that I've met online, it's like stepping into a separate world where everyone understands and accepts each other. It's so encouraging!
