Well, as the title says, I've finally caught a cold. I'm getting through paper tissues at an alarming rate. The coldcure tablets are having little effect. I feel awful. Where did I get it from? I really don't know. It could be anywhere. And the weird thing is that no one around me has it. Is it dangerous? Not really. I'm thinking it will all turn out okay. I cannot do much about it now. Let's watch and see what happens. God bless you for reading.

Hi everyone, Well... I've still got the snivels... hundreds of tissues, thick head, generally feeling awful.  I don't know if anyone has got it from me... I can't do much about it if they have. And anyway, I don't know where I got it from. It's not dangerous. It is a bit unpleasant, but bearable for a few more days at least. I will have touched door handles. .. I don't remember where. I picked up a loose potato in a supermarket. Have I contaminated it, or has it contaminated me, and my shopping,  or the bank card? I really don't know ... I  really don't. But our evidence suggests that everything will be fine. I ate pork pie and salad for lunch. Didn' t wash hands before or after, and just used my fingers. Is it okay? We'll just have to wait and see, won't we! Okay, that's it for now. Chat again soon.  God bless you for reading.

Hi there. Thank you for your kind words. This morning I managed something really big to do with x-ray in a hospital,  but I won't divulge it yet, cos I mustn't seek reassurance,  or give it power. It's a just wait a couple of days and see... I'll report back on say, Wednesday evening. Church was good yesterday, I sat at the front again. That way I'm in the middle of it all. Helped stack some chairs. Anything on them? I don't know, but it hasn't made anyone ill yet... More on Wednesday.  God bless you for reading.

Hi everyone, yes, a hospital visit. .. to x ray to be precise. .. My wife,  for whom I am main carer, needed to visit doctor, and was sent to local hospital to have an x-ray straightaway. So we jumped into the car and headed to the hospital. During the visit I must have touched lots of door handles, the wheelchair,  the car door handles and steering wheel. And a few buttons. On the way home I thought about how much I could have 'contaminated '. But there was no antibacterial gel anywhere that I could notice. I managed to resist telephoning anyone. On the way home we called at a fast food restaurant, no washing of hands, and paid with my bank card, pressed the button that used to be green. Ate with the fingers. Anything happen? Well not yet anyway. We'll have to wait and see won't we? -Something happened this morning, but I've actually forgotten what. Tomorrow it is Coffee morning at church. The famous sausage rolls. .. Eaten without cutlery. And a nice latte. At the weekend we travel to see relatives. Fast food restaurants beckon again... Touching the car doors, sleeping in a different bedroom. Touching toilet doors. At motorway cafés a lot of people don't wash their hands. They go and eat chips with fingers. If anyone got ill it would be in the papers wouldn't it? And this is ongoing evidence. I mended a chair today... knelt on the floor. A carpetted floor. Will there be anything dangerous on my trousers? I really don't know. Until tomorrow then... God bless you for reading.

Hi everyone. Thank you for your kind words. Yes, my wife is okay, amazingly! The sausage roll was okay, and we had some good fellowship too. Today we go to visit the dogs and cats,  not to mention relatives! Fast food restaurants beckon. I refuse to use antibacterial gel on my hands. Once I start, when do I stop? The easiest solution is don't start. Mmmm,  even that is difficult sometimes. The friendship overrides the fear... Mmmm, that's a thought. We all have natural resistance to bad germs, good germs need the bad stuff to strengthen on. We all come through crawling on the floor as babies and small children. The stuff we came through as children! Okay, we'll see how this goes... we'll wait and see... We've done this before, and been okay. More on Monday. God bless you for reading.

Well, yesterday it happened. .. I suffered travel sickness. At least that's what I think it was. I had to change some clothes. .. only the grubby ones. Today, Nothing. Nothing at all... What caused it? I've absolutely no idea. No one else is ill... Nothing. So it is just one of those things. I felt fine after some fish and chips! I've done lots of erp. Went to the petrol station. Got petrol, eaten sweets. I may just have been hungry. Mmmm, no idea. It was only for a litte while. And in the evening I ate the fish and chips with my fingers! I feel fine today! Pizza for tea tonight. Yes! Today I visited an engineering factory for the first time in over thirty years. Just visiting. Wow! How the technology has
changed from the days when I was in engineering! Anything to worry about? I don't know. This evening I'm eating pizza with my fingers without washing hands after having a lovely cat on my lap. It was okay last time! My battery is failing, so more later. God bless you for reading.

Hi.

I feel sorry for the travel sickness.

Good to hear that you're eventually fine.

Nope, and we've been out in the car too. Touched everything. So hopefully everything will be okay. We'll have to wait and see! We have petted the dogs and cats with no ill-effects whatsoever. Tomorrow we go home... It's a long way, but we will be fine... More tomorrow. God bless you for reading.

Well, no travel sickness on the way home. Stopped at a transport cafe on way home. Ate sandwich with fingers. Car still needs a valet. I can sort it later. Dirty clothes can go in a bowl of hot soapy water, for a soak before going in the washing machine. All good. Blood doning this afternoon, then computer shop. All good ... over the weekend we spent super time away. Dogs and cats, even fish! It was a really nice time with relatives and friends , really nice people. I've  still got the snivels just a bit... but no headache. Are we okay? Well, we were last time... I have to do the laundry in a little while. But is it dangerous? I don't know, but I'm thinking it's okay cos it was last time. Tomorrow we thoroughly clean  the car, hoovering etc. Mmmm. .. More later,  God bless you for reading.
