Hi Dave

Hope you are doing okay yourself. Try not to get too worried about the CBT, it's a great therapy and it's one we must keep at when we have finished the therapy. One option you could go for which is recording your therapy sessions, I feel this is a good one because we won't be able to recall everything that has been said. Also we are all very unique individuals so every therapy session will be different for each person, in my scenario, my CBT therapist started doing quizzes with myself, I knew there was more to it because I think he was testing my ability on other asprcts as well.

If you want start your own thread up about the CBT that way you can talk about what's happening during the CBT and what issues you have been talking about.

You'll do well I'm sure.

Always good to encourage but I think we must bear in mind that some posts might take a bit longer, maybe sometimes we might not get a reply. I know this can be upsetting to people who are in distress but if you are not getting a reply please do try and help others, that way you can introduce yourself, maybe give examples of issues you have yourself. Sometimes posts can get lost within the forum, I may of worded that wrong (lol)

Hope everyone is doing well.

I am three sessions into my CBT and as stated it seems a very good treatment.

Firstly you have to be commuted to the cause and must help yourself as your therapist is helping you.

My biggest problem now is that I have bad social anxiety and struggle even being with my friends. Also I have thought about others all my life and I'm now starting to say exactly how I feel and I feel alot better in doing it.

Obviously a long way to go but I'm always nervous before going in, I'm getting there though and I'm sure you Dave will be just fine.
