OCD affects everybody differently. What might be a molehill for one person can be a mountain for another. But for everybody, getting better is about challenging yourself and winning small precious achievements against the OCD bully.

    I managed to run for 55 minutes without having intrusive thoughts and having to run back and forth like a lunatic to dispel the thought and anxiety

    I managed to make my wife a cup of tea without performing my usual compulsions associated with the task.

    Yesterday (Saturday) I didn’t do any laundry even though I needed to. I wasn’t at all well and told my OCD that I needed a break and that it was to get lost. This is the first time in months that I've managed to have a break from doing the laundry!

    I managed to leave on nail polish I feel is contaminated and touch and put away clean clothes! It is still on now!

    Today with a lot of effort I managed to put the clean clothes back into one of the drawers that I cleaned yesterday.
