OCD Action are sadly saying goodbye to Nick Barber, who has been the Charity's Lead Advocate for the last year. Nick has done a fantastic job supporting volunteers and clients with Advocacy issues, and we wish him the best of luck in the future.
"When I was interviewed to work at OCD Action as the Lead Advocate, I promised to complete the year's contract, now that year has come to an end and it is time to move on. During the last year I have met and worked with many interesting people and have learnt so much that I can draw on in roles I will undertake in the future. My thanks go to all the staff at OCD Action for being both helpful and welcoming, but most of all to the clients I have had the privilege to work with. Best wishes for the future to all those involved in OCD Action."
Nick has now handed over to our new Lead Advocate, Kenna Moran, who is based in Liverpool. We are really excited to be welcoming Kenna to the OCD Action team!
"I’m really excited to be joining OCD Action, working with and supporting people who have OCD to access treatment, secure their rights and to be treated fairly through an Advocacy Service that’s the only one of its kind in the UK. I’ll also be working to raise the profile of OCD Action and the brilliant work we do, as well as recruiting, training and supporting our network of Volunteer Advocates."
You can reach Kenna by email - , or on her work mobile - 07928696525.
