A few months ago, OCD Action were delighted to be awarded three years funding from the Big Lottery Fund, to expand our Better Together Project so it's Even Better Together. As the demand for support groups continues to increase, Keira and the EBT team have been working hard to support the growth of the network of independent support groups, both locally and online. The Big Lottery funding has allowed us to be able to better meet this demand, by expanding the team directly working on the project. So without further ado, we are delighted to introduce you to Carol McKean, our new Even Better Together Project Assistant.
"I've spent most of my working career working in statutory services and I'm really relishing the new challenge of working for a charity that makes such a positive difference to peoples lives. I'm excited to learn about all of the support offered and working with my fabulous new colleagues both at head office and the volunteers all around the country. I'm looking forward to my new multi-functional role and helping to develop the Even Better Together project further."
We are thrilled that Carol is joining our team, and think the skills and passion she has will have a hugely positive influence on the Project. Carol will be joining Keira and the EBT team in the Cromer office, in Norfolk. Amongst many things, Carol will be responding to all new support group inquiries, helping with the administration of the Project, and supporting Keira with setting up and organising events, to name just a few things.
Carol can be reached on the Cromer number: 0303 040 1112, or by email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
