Christmas and the end of the year may be nearing, but we're still being amazed by the work of our fabulous fundraisers! This weekend, two special events will be happening.
Are you a student at a university in Birmingham? Come along to an exciting tabletop gaming tournament at Aston University tomorrow (Saturday 9th December)! Open to students at Aston as well as the University of Birmingham and Birmingham City University, it only cost £3 to enter and £1 per game - and all the funds raised will go to OCD Action. The games include Carcassone, Ticket to Ride, Dominion, Settlers of Catan, Sheriff of Nottingham, Sushi Go Party and two different types of Magic the Gathering. Organised by the amazing Selina Chan, this promises to be an unmissable event!
Check it out here!
That's not all though! On Sunday 10th December, the wonderful Maisie Rice will be donning a Father Christmas costume to run in the 5K Santa Dash! But she won't be delivering presents to boys and girls... she'll be delivering donations to OCD Action, a charity she describes as "very close to me and my family", in order to help the many people all over the UK who struggle with this debilitating disorder. Maisie has already raised a stunning £120.75 - that puts even Saint Nick to shame!
Support Maisie and donate to her page here!
As always, we're absolutely bowled over by the amazing support shown to us by our fundraisers. Thanks so much Selina and Maisie, and we wish you both the very best of luck this weekend!
