Community Fundraising is such an integral part of OCD Action! Each year, we are overwhelmed by the amount of incredible volunteers who give up their time to raise vital funds which help us carry out our work. From marathons (including ultra marathons!) to bake sales, face painting to mountain climbing, we are constantly amazed by the creative, daring and brave lengths that people go to to support those affected by OCD and related disorders.
Supporting our fundraisers is an important part of our work, and as our team of community fundraisers grows, our support team needs to grow too! So we are excited to announce that we are now recruiting for a brand new voluntary role!
As a Fundraising Volunteer, you will communicate by email with our community fundraisers offering them support, sending them t-shirts and any other material they need, and promoting their activities on our social media channels and website .This is a brilliant opportunity to gain experience of the day-to-day fundraising work carried out by a small charity. It’s a chance to support and encourage fundraisers in raising money and awareness of what is a poorly understood mental health condition.
You will be required to work one day per week from the London OCD Action Office, for a minimum of 3 months. For a full role description and information about how to apply, please follow the link below:
We look forward to hearing from you!
