    Hopefully the rest of your life. Recovery is a life long thing. Ocd will always be there. Like Orwell stated you can choose to ignore it. Meditation helps putting distance between you and your thoughts. Download the head space app. It was beneficial in my recovery.

    You can't know for sure. Thats the entire point. Embrace the uncertainty! Live your life according to your values and your brain will catch up. Think about how much time you are waisting on thoughts......it's ridiculous!

    Are you seeing a therapist? If not I would suggest you find someone who specializes in OCD. Make sure they do Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy.
