OCD Action's National Conference is less than two weeks away. During the day, you will hear from leading OCD experts, inspirational speakers, and the OCD Action team. As well as this, there will be the chance to have your questions answered in one of our two Q+A sessions. These two sessions will run alongside each other, so to help you choose which to attend, here is a bit more information about them.
The first session will be led by a panel of clinical experts (Dr David Veale, Professor Karina Lovell and Dr Lynne Drummond) and OCD Action’s Chair (Gillian Knight). This session will be a great opportunity to ask any questions about OCD and the treatments for it.
The second Q+A session will be all about advocacy and your rights. Sitting along side OCD Action's Advocacy Manager (Collette Byrne) will be three solicitors, Kate Hancock and Mel Varey (Solicitors with Stephensons Solicitors LLP specialising, respectively, in Housing Law and Community Care) and Sharney Randhawa, a Solicitor in the Employment and professional discipline department at Bindmans. Kate, Mel and Sharney will be there to answer any questions you may have on your legal rights. Kate and Mel will also be available for questions during the day of the Conference, prior to the Q&A session.
To attend your chosen question and answer session, as well as the rest of the day's events, book your place for the Conference here.
