The cast and crew of The Play That Goes Wrong, the comedy sensation which has taken the West End by storm, have recently done an unbelievable amount to help people with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
For three nights, 23rd-25th February (right at the end of our Week of Action) the amazing company, who have a member personally affected by OCD, put on a collection for OCD Action. The cast, still in their costumes, collected donations from their generous audiences to help people struggling with OCD get the help, information and support they need.
Together, they raised an ASTONISHING £1,521.50. This is a huge amount, especially to be raised over a single weekend, and it will do a lot to help people with this debilitating condition. For instance, this can keep the Helpline funded for an entire month!
Equally importantly, the collection will also have done wonders for raising awareness of this misunderstood disorder among fans and audiences of the smash-hit play!
We would also like to thank the cast for enthusiastically promoting the cause with their followers:
On behalf of all of the people with OCD that you have helped, thank you all so much to Mischief Theatre and everyone behind this wonderful collection!
