There are many ways people can get involved in raising money for OCD Action to support our work with children and adults across the UK. If you’ve got a few hours to spare, one way is to hold a fundraising collection outside your local supermarket. This can raise a lot of money in a short space of time. Plus, it helps to raise awareness of OCD Action and the support we can offer people affected by OCD.
ASDA in Southgate, London N14, has kindly agreed for one of our Community Fundraisers, Emeline, to hold collections outside the store on three dates in August – Saturday 2nd August (from 1.00 pm to 6.00 pm), Sunday 3rd August (from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm) and Saturday 9th August (from 1.00 pm to 6.00 pm). If you live in the Southgate area, please do pay a visit to ASDA in Southgate on one or more of those dates to support Emeline in her efforts.
If you can work alongside Emeline as a fundraiser on one or more of the above dates, please also let us know by getting in touch with Philip at the OCD Action office ( or 020 7253 5272). Emeline could do with a bit of extra help while she is holding the collections, so if you would like to join her in her efforts, please do get in touch.
If you would like to arrange a fundraising collection of your own outside your local supermarket, please also get in touch. You will usually need permission from the store before you can collect and we are able to help you with that. Again, please contact Philip ( or 020 7253 5272).
