A big thank you to our Community Fundraisers

OCD Action has a great team of Community Fundraisers raising money to help improve the lives of people affected by Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.  And there are a couple of fantastic community fundraising events coming up …

First of all, on Sunday 27 July, Adam Cowell and Jamie Fletcher embark on ‘Operation Cornwall Devon’ (OCD) which will see them walking the entire Cornish coastline.   Then, on Saturday 2nd August, Kelly Furzer is holding an awareness and fundraising stall in the Elmsleigh Shopping Centre in Staines-Upon-Thames.  (This is a precursor to Kelly’s cycle ride from Land’s End to John O’Groats in September!).

We’d like to say a big thank you to Adam, Jamie and Kelly for their wonderful efforts and also wish them all the best in their forthcoming events.  All of them have already raised a lot of money so far, so we’d also like to thank everyone who’s made donations to date in support of Jamie’s, Adam’s and Kelly’s efforts. And anyone who’d like to do the same is still able and welcome to do so via Jamie’s, Adam’s and Kelly’s JustGiving pages:

Of course, if you live in or near Staines, you can also support Kelly in person by going along to the Elmsleigh Shopping Centre on Saturday 2 August (62 South Street, Staines, Middlesex, TW18 4QF) and visiting Kelly’s stall. And please also remember that, in August, another of our Community Fundraisers, Emeline, is holding collections outside ASDA in Southgate, London N14. Further details can be found here:

Again, our sincere thanks to Adam, Jamie, Kelly …. and Emeline!  And if the fantastic efforts of the four of them have also inspired you to raise funds for people with OCD, please do get in touch with us either to chat through your ideas or to get some suggestions from us.   You can contact Philip at or on 020 7253 5272, and we look forward to hearing from you.
